Jitters is known for local musician’s first place to perform, as well as, a great venue for traveling artists that are looking to perform for a small crowd with a more intimate setting. Jitters also participates in local festivities such as Anchorage Folk Festival, Bear Paw, and Merchant Munch. Jitters also features a monthly art show, exhibiting everything from paintings or photos from grade school students to the professional artist. Annual shows include the Bear Paw photo exhibit, The Alaska Society of Outdoor Photographers traveling exhibit, the Chugach Quilters Guild, and the Chugiak Senior Center original art show. Jitters is the perfect place for a wedding, reception, retirement party, wine and beer tasting, silent auction fundraisers and the list goes on! The ambience is perfect the way it is, however, we have decorating and catering available if you are looking for something more formal. We have a small room for events under 30 people. We also rent out the entire space which holds up to 200 people.
