Jitters is known for local musician’s first place to perform, as well as, a great venue for traveling artists that are looking to perform for a small crowd with a more intimate setting. Jitters also participates in local festivities such as Anchorage Folk Festival, Bear Paw, and Merchant Munch.  Jitters also features a monthly art show, exhibiting everything from paintings or photos from grade school students to the professional artist.  Annual shows include the Bear Paw photo exhibit, The Alaska Society of Outdoor Photographers traveling exhibit, the Chugach Quilters Guild, and the Chugiak Senior Center original art show.  Jitters Check our Instagram and Facebook page to stay up to date on what’s to come.

Somewhere deep in the middle of a good story, a simple and powerful thing happens. You begin to feel seen. The characters have been slowly undressed, layer upon layer of hope and human flaw, their struggles revealed. They remind you of your family, of a briefly encountered stranger, of yourself.

Need space for your event?

Jitters is the perfect place for a wedding, reception, retirement party, wine and beer tasting, silent auction fundraisers and the list goes on!  The ambience is perfect the way it is, however, we have decorating and catering available if you are looking for something more formal.  We have a small room for events under 30 people.  We also rent out the entire space which holds up to 200 people.
